Zalena's Filly Sold

Mark forgot his notebook which had all of his work inside. Thankfully Ruth came on the walk and was willing to drop it off on her way to work. Emma and I drove to Farmington, IL to visit her boyfriend Rick James. Emma kind of thought he was cute but not enough to stay the night. Tomorrow we will try again.
Today Ribbon and her filly along with Emma and her colt were let out into the big field with Zalena and her filly, Indy and her filly, and Eliza and her colt. Jenis was moved into the barn as Jesse was coming for pictures at noon. Eliza and Zalena are both in their foal heat and both covered this morning. Zalena by Valiant and Eliza by Evan. Flower was teased, she is still in but was covered yesterday so won't get covered again until tomorrow.
Dee sent through an email that she would like to purchase Zalena's filly and will drop off the deposit on Wednesday.
At 1:15 pm Rachel was heading to a photo shoot for Jamie Stone and her Raven daughter Myrrhcedes. I asked to follow her out to get a few pictures for myself. Since Jesse hadn't arrived Jenis was put in the pond pasture with Jurista and Soul.  Myrrhcedes was shown in Springfield at the big show last weekend and won grand champion. Below is Ralph and Jamie with their grand champion mare Myrrhcedes:
Myrrhcedes was turned loose and showed off for us with her fantastic trot and canter.
Below Jamie is getting that much desired by all horse lovers the horse kiss!
On the way home Sarah called in a panic. Jesse had Jenis right in front of Killian's paddock and he smashed through all of the railings and started chasing her around. Sarah was able to grab Killian and lock him in a stall before he got over to the other 2 stallions. Jesse was not hurt but a little shook up. As soon as supper was done Mark and I went out to fix fence. Below we have removed all the shattered boards and are measuring for new ones.
As soon as Emily gets back we will have her electrify it all the way around. Karin says to sell him or geld him. Perhaps that is what it will come to but it would be a shame to geld him. He is going to be the true fantasy Friesian stallion everyone always imagines.
