Berean Prison Ministry

Before breakfast Emily and I needed to move a new bale in Evan's paddock. With the skid steer in for repairs we had to use Mark's tractor. It isn't as maneuverable as the skid steer so it took us a little longer than usual. We didn't have time to cover Sheena before the walk but Emily got that done after we left. Rhoda and Emily took Sangria to Middle Grove and brought back Ribbon and Promise. Ribbon has a vaulting session this Saturday while we have a couple different people interested in Promise and they want to see updated pictures.
Today the TAG ladies invited us Berean workers to come tell a little about the ministry and were willing to help with some of our work. Diane and I picked up Spark first, dropped him off at the Rescue Mission to pick up Joan and Tim's new van then down to the post office to pick up this weeks mail. Mom was hosting Club today so had to miss this TAG meeting. We hauled the Bibles and all the supplies to the church by 9:30 am and by the time we were set up our backs were hurting. There was a big group of ladies all willing to help.

 After the talk the ladies above opened up this weeks mail, prepared the Bibles for mailing, and read letters. The ladies below worked on stamping our return address on 5000 envelopes which should last us a couple of months.

 We had a good amount of mail for the week, enough for everyone to keep busy.

We broke for lunch at 11:30 am then Diane, Eva Jean and I loaded everything back up into Diane's van and headed to Meisters to process the studies. By 3:00 pm we quit. We didn't finish but came close. Tomorrow Diane and I will try to finish up the studies and mail out the Bibles. It was a long exhausting day and I know I'll sleep good tonight. Joan and Tim's plane was delayed they will be coming in tomorrow instead of 10:00 tonight.
