Still HOT!

This is to be another triple digit day the mares and foals were moved into the air conditioned barn before the morning walk. Clair's filly will need to go back to the vet today to flush her hock again and as long as Clair is there she may as well have a pregnancy ultrasound. It has been 15 days since her last cover. Diane, Braelyn and I were the only human walkers we were joined by Emma, Ebby and Heidi. Mom and the Reinhards are on their way to Gulf Shores, Alabama, Ruth's family is in Missouri having fun canoeing down the current river and Rachel is working on her rental house. Jenis looks uncomfortable, she is so heavy in foal. Now I wish we had a bigger barn with a bigger air conditioner. If she delivers soon we will need to kick Clair and her filly out. We have 8 stalls but only 2 big foaling stalls. Jenis is not waxed over or dripping but her udder is more bagged up then yesterday. Dr. Hoerr called to schedule us for 2:00pm, Mike will take a late lunch to help load. Braelyn will go along so her stroller must be loaded into the horse trailer. We hit 100 degrees Fahrenheit before noon!
