Ruth wasn't sure if mom was going to feel like going to church today. She was so tired and didn't want to even get up. Joan came over at 7:30 am and Ruth got mom a cup of coffee and she felt much better. I went over at 9:00 am and once mom and Ruth were in Joan's new van we drove over to Rhonda's to pick her up. Mark drove separately and Spark went to the jail this morning. Joan, Kathy and Randy were serving lunch so they all went early to church. Molly brought Nancy and arrived at the exact same time as us. Tim Roecker had the morning message. Click HERE if you would like to listen to that. It really was about asking God FIRST. He spoke on Joshua 9 and Colossians 2. I've asked Tim if he wouldn't mind having his sermon's on video instead of just on audio. Hopefully he is reconsidering. He has so much to share and it is easier, at least for me, to listen while watching. Lunch went great. There were enough left overs that Joan brought a huge box of donuts for our Sunday meal dessert. David had the afternoon message on the minor prophets Bible study. He read from Deuteronomy 4 and Zechariah. It was a relevant message and really reminds us about the covenant with Israel. Click HERE to watch that. Ruth and I used Joan's new van to take mom and Nancy to mom's house. It is the best option while the wheel chair van is still in the shop. The meal today was at 5:30 pm instead of 4:30 as we had cousins coming for dinner and old pictures to share. We sure enjoyed the fellowship while feasting.

Family Pictures
After supper a lot of the young kids went up to the game room while the older kids played volleyball and us really old kids watched the pictures.
Below Joan, mom and Joyce are not watching the volleyball players through the window, they are looking at the television which is not in the picture.
We were laughing at some of these pictures.
Above is dad and below are dad and mom canoeing on Lake Gerard.
Below are mom and dad coming out of church I think in New Jersey.
The picture below was taken later.
Below left to right is Johnny, Bobby, Eddie and Sparky.
We ALL laughed at the picture below:
Mark and I took Nancy home before the pictures were over as it was after 7:00 pm. After dropping her off we strove straight to the barn to clean up only to find someone had already cleaned everything up. A BIG thank YOU to all who helped with that job. It really was a beautiful day and a fun evening.
