I left the hotel at 6:00 am to fill the van up with gas AND to buy myself a large coffee. The breakfast room at the hotel didn't open until 7:30 am and I needed my coffee. Once back at the hotel the suitcase was packed and then we had time to read before heading to breakfast. Almost all of our group made it to that room as soon as it was open. We wanted to start loading the van at 8:15 am. The trip home went well except we got in stop and go traffic going through St. Louis. Our last stop was at Loves gas station in Illinois. I had filled the van with gas and was waiting for the group to come out when Gina walked the same time Chris had arrived back at the van. We were so surprised to see her. She and Gary were up driving back from Gulf Shores and also stopped for gas, the same time as us and at the same gas station. We made it back to Peoria church by 3:50 pm which gave Bruce and Leila time to drive home to change and get to Princeville for their army reunion by 5:00 pm. Hope they made it. After everyone had their luggage and in their cars we left for home stopping at Casey's in Hanna City to fill up the van gas. Brian was working at Sarah and Nolan's house today and had driven my car there so instead of needing to drive to their house 54 miles away we could just drive home. Mark vacuumed out the van while I unloaded and got the laundry started. We walked into our house, stopped and said, "WOW!" Rhoda and Sarah decluttered and cleaned so much so that the house is ready for company. Now we just need to keep it that way. I took Ruth's step stool over to mom's to give back to Ruth and visited with mom and Ruth before going home to make our supper. On my way back I checked the horses and ALL of the paddocks had been mowed! Special thanks to Mike for that. Plus the 10 bales of hay were stacked in the barn and one was moved in for Valiant. Mike sent the picture of the farmer loading the hay onto his trailer.
