Many Guests

I went out before 6:30 am to tease and cover Rosaleigh and only after getting that job done with Valiant did I notice Blueberry is also in season.  Her filly by Valiant born April 17th is so beautiful we decided we want to repeat this pairing so will wait until tomorrow to cover her. The mares were let out to graze.

The fillies were having fun playing together.
Above is Blueberry's and below is Rosalie's.
I got the dishes done here before going over to mom's. Today was the co-op picnic and Berlica had a lot of friends spend the night. They came over early in their suits even though it was only about 60 degrees outside with a stiff wind. Berlica brought them inside to say hello to mom and Aunt Jinnie.
Joan was out getting the beach ready by turning over the canoes.
I took the golf cart over to check out the motorhome at the perfect time. Blueberry's filly had climbed through the fence and was separated from her mom. Hunter, the groom and his groomsmen for the wedding this evening saw her and helped put her back where she belonged.
By the time I made it back to mom's the beach was full and yes there were kids swimming, declaring that the water is WARM!

The water may have been warm but the air was cool. Joan built a big fire for the kids to warm up after swimming.
While I was at mom's Mark got my lone tomato plant planted.
We really need at least one more so I'll have to do some shopping next week. Diane stopped in at mom's after they got home from Middle Grove around noon. I left and drove to Aldi to pick up some groceries for tomorrow meal and made it back in plenty of time to get the groceries put away before picking mom, Aunt Jinnie and Karin up at 3:00 pm. We drove to Farmington to the new Mexican restaurant for an early supper.
Aunt Jinnie and Mark ordered shrimp fajitas and they came steaming hot.
We got home in time to watch the wedding guests arriving for Olivia and Hunter's wedding. I was out with the horses when her father walked her down the path (aisle)Blueberry's filly was more interested in what I was doing with the phone than the wedding happening in the next pasture over.

We had a full day here with many guests from young babies with the co-op families to the grandparents at the wedding. Dad would have been so pleased. He loved company!
