Wednesday March 26th, 2025

I was downstairs watching Jeff Waibel give a talk on the subtle sin of gluttony when Diane sent a text asking if I was out taking pictures of the sunrise. Of course as soon as I looked out the window I went out and marveled at the colors.

The colors only became more beautiful.
When the sun went into the clouds I took one more picture before heading back to the condo.
At 9:30 am I was watching at the window and saw David, Israel and Elisabet walking down to the beach.  David went to work digging what the kids called a hot tub at the beach.
So many kids came to play in big hole. Benj brought Elisabet's cousins so she was happy with girls to play with.

The boogie boarding was fun today. The waves were gentle enough that even the little ones enjoyed the
Gulf waters.

The girls had some help with the beach hot tub and it was surprising how quickly the water in that hole warmed up.
Then the boys discovered it.
That hole kept so many kids busy playing.

The skim boarding became the next fun activity for the boys.

Benj made his girl's faces white.

Later David took Israel and Elisabet to Pier 33 for slushees.

David Jacob and Leah arrived. We saw them stop to talk to Kari and Diane said, "that guy looks like David Jacob" then says, "not quite." It was his beard that threw her off. We were surprised to see it really was them.
Phil and Anna's girls decided to go to the pool and hot tub. I decided to walk down to join them but on the way an older lady (I found out later she was 2 years younger than me) flagged me down asking for help. She was terribly hot and lost. She could not find her high rise, could not remember the name of it and was ready to faint. I was taking her in Island Royale to cool her down when I saw the lifeguards coming in their special vehicle. I left the lady, ran down the beach to flag the lifeguards down and was able to catch them. I was able to explain, they put her in the front of the vehicle to try to find her condo and took off.
I finally made it over to the pool.

By the time I made it back to the beach David had taken Elisabet back and Israel was busy building a pyramid.
It was interesting to watch as he would shovel sand into a big pile then smooth it on the sides with what I call a manure scraper but it probably is some kind of sand tool.

By 4:30 pm we were cleaning up the beach and all going back to start suppers. At 6:30 pm we saw 9 little boys going out to the beach all in red shirts and thought we were watching a  baseball team head out to the beach. About then we realized those were Rhonda's grandsons. I ran out to get a picture of them.
Mark sent the picture below. Spring really IS happening in Hanna City!
