Productive Day at Berean

Diane and I were waiting for Ruth when Spark drove up and told us a little about their trip to Missouri. He also told us Molly and Gabe went canoeing on the Current River about the same time we did and Dafna had to be rescued by her brother Josiah. Crazy how dangerous that river is with so many trees down. I only did one round as I needed to be at Berean and wanted to stop at Sam's club first. Ruth brought mom. We had a good productive day at Berean. Below are the pictures from today.

Skip had 20 Bible requests.
We were a little short handed as so many of our volunteers were working at the church. This week is our Conference week. Peoria is hosting the general conference for all the AC Churches in America for Today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I needed to stop at Sam's to pick up more food for the breakfast on Friday of all of our conference guests. Between Joan, Diane, Ruth and I we will be serving 23 for breakfast. Each of us are bringing something different and will be serving the food at the barn so each host will bring their guests here. We have to serve by 7:00 am as our guests need to be at church by 8:00 am on Friday. Most of us don't need to be there until a little later so we will have time to clean up. When I got home from Berean and put the food away Mark and I went over to work on the sewer hose problem with the motorhome. The only thing Mark needed to buy was special glue and he got that earlier today.
It worked, it is now fixed. He, Mackenson and Berlica got the weed whacking and the rest of the mowing done here. Everything looks nice for our guests. Sarah was at the beach with her girls, Anna came with her girls plus her aunt Jolene and her cousins. The kids were enjoying the lake while the adults visited.

I left about 1:15 pm Goodfield, met Taunya and followed her to Bloomington. Addyson rode with Taunya and the 3 boys rode with me. They all needed their school physicals done. The boys had fun telling me their favorite and their worst thing about vacation on the way to the doctor. All of them went in at once but Addyson went first once inside then as soon as she was done I took her back to Goodfield to change then to Eureka for cheer practice. I made it home just in time to make supper. Mark wanted healthy and healthy he got. Two fish fillets, steamed broccoli, cabbage salad, peppers and a half of an avocado.
Mark was exhausted by all the outdoor labor today and went to bed before it got dark. I had to finish the kitchen but am heading to bed now even before 9:00 pm. A good day!
