We were dragging this morning but went to the barn before breakfast to do a little cleaning and organizing. After breakfast we were talking when I noticed it was 8:55 am and I still needed to shower. Everything had to move in fast mode from then until we got in the car at 9:10 am. As we left 10 minutes late Joan was sent a text that we were running 10 minutes late and maybe she could find someone to sit with mom but when we arrived thankfully Diane and Nancy were already up with mom. Joan was up with the Sunday school kids singing. David had the first message on the Joel Bible study but started with Deuteronomy 4 to give us a background on Joel. If you would like to watch that sermon click HERE. Tim Funk gave the exhortation for voting on a new minister for the afternoon. None of the kids were coming for dinner tonight. We had a couple hours at home before we needed to leave. Mark changed and went over to clean the floor of the barn but I just stayed in my Sunday clothes. Mike took Berlica, Jasper and Taegan on a trail ride then finished the ride at our place, untacked the horses and put them in the middle paddock then went back to the cabin to get the last two. Berlica drove the golf cart while Jasper and Mike each held a lead rope.

Peoria Hosts
Taegan and I followed on the other golf cart.
Instead of serving dinner we left at 4:30 pm back to church were we were served dinner before hymnsing. Washington church was our guests tonight. Jesse and Joanne served the delicious dinner and the main dish was pulled pork. After 4 songs of congregational singing, the younger Sunday school class sang some of their Sunday School songs.
We enjoyed visiting with so many from our past and meeting new brothers and sisters. It is always wonderful when we host.
