Another Beautiful Day

Last night before heading to bed we needed to figure out if there was anyway mom, Aunt Jinnie and I could sleep in the same bed.

We booked a handicapped room at the Drury Inn in Hayti Mo for our way back but the handicapped room only has ONE bed. It is a king size bed but still just ONE. After much laughter we decided nope 3 in the bed just wasn't going to work. We shall see what happens next Friday. This morning the sunrise wasn't as dramatic as there was a cloud bank but when the sun broke through the cloud bank it was beautiful.
After breakfast we were sitting out on the balcony and saw a group of people wading into the Gulf. They were holding baptisms and this went on for a while.

We are not sure how many were baptized but what a neat place for that to happen.
At 9:30 am we went inside to watch church online. Peoria had a visiting minister for the morning message and Tim Roecker had the afternoon message. After lunch we decided to go on a walk. We stopped at Lani Kai to check out some of the work done there this summer.
Next we walked to Beth and Greg's and went to check out the pontoon boat to see if there was any way to get mom from the wheel chair into the boat. George arrived hoping for a snack.
Beth took some pinfish from their bait cage. Below Aunt Jinnie is watching Beth get the fish.
George was fascinated with mom.
Beth gave mom a fish to throw to George.
He was quick to come over to eat it.
After that we walked to Rodney and David and Michelle's house to check out that dock. There was a nice bench for Aunt Jinnie to sit and rest a bit. The Waibels found us sitting there and came back to our condo to check that out. After a nice visit they left. We sat outside watching the sun set.
Supper was a little later tonight. Now we are watching a moving of John Newton called Amazing Grace.
