Almost everyone was up early to eat breakfast then pack and leave. By 8:20 am we were the last truck pulling out. The house was clean and we were bringing back a lot less food then we took. David got an update from Steph that Israel's team won last night so played today and he just got news that Israel batted a triple, then the next inning made a home run with 2 others on base for another triple. They won that game too.
The drive was uneventful and we pulled in before 2:00 pm. David helped with the unloading and within 10 minutes the truck and trailer was empty. We have a few repairs to make on the Wildwood before it can be taken out again. Those happened on the way down on the steep upanddownwinding roads. The worst was the fridge. Mark thinks it was because we over loaded it. I did not speed and was careful going around curves and at one point had an entire train of cars, trucks and campers all behind me but still the fridge slipped forward. I think it was never built correctly. The second repair was a screw on one of the awning covers broke. That should be an easy fix. Sure hope we can get it repaired quickly. I went out to check the mares and foals and decided to move the yearlings into the middle paddock and pond pasture with Madiera, Jewel and their foals. It is just so hot. The hay was cut yesterday and it has been so hot and sunny it will probably be ready to bale tomorrow. It is not going to be a bumper crop but it is still fine stemmed and the horses will like it. I downloaded some short videos from the house we rented along with the picture of the moon last night. I so wish I had a better camera for that. The moon was so orange and huge.
