The Invite

 Today Peoria had an invite. It was wonderful to see so many friends from the past and make new friends.  We really do love hosting and now that we no longer need to be locked up because of those crazy covid lockdowns we are finally getting back to enjoying lots of fellowship. Tim Roecker had the morning message and David had the afternoon. Tim's isn't up yet on AC Central but David's is posted so if you would like to watch and listen click HERE. After church Cheryl G hosted 5 couples while waiting for the big get together at the fellowship hall.  Amy and Ken along with Mark and I were 2 of the couples.  At 3:30 pm Amy and I left to pick up mom and Aunt Jinnie so they could join us for supper at the fellowship hall. That was so well attended that Joan needed to have 2 more tables set quickly. Sarah took the pictures below: 

Joan set the tables up so we were pretty squished but it turned out she needed to do that to make room for everyone.  There was an abundance of food but the dessert table was impressive. Sarah took these pictures also.

After the dinner came the singing. Below we are just starting to get seated for that part.

That was so beautiful the numbers were given out quickly and sometimes 2 at a time. Mark and I left with mom and Aunt Jinnie right after the singing as today was a long day for mom. The rest of the group enjoyed more desserts and lots more fellowship. What a blessing today was and a special thanks to all who worked to make this happen.
