Rosalie was more than ready to be let outside this morning and today she was put in the back field. Evan saw her coming and started calling to her. Rosalie went right over to scream at him as if to say, "YOU are why I lost my girlish figure!" Check out the video of her going over to yell at him.
Today was clean out day. The dressing room of the Kiefer built needed to be emptied of all the show stuff we had stored in there. Most was put in the car and taken down to the garage but the buckets were taken into the barn.
As long as I was working on the trailer the horse part was also swept out.
At noon I went over to mom's house. Diane was with mom today and was making her lunch. She was reading mom a short story about a retirement community through the eyes of a grandson.
We were laughing so hard our eyes were leaking. This afternoon I needed to clean up the Coachman Catalina trailer and was just finishing the final sweeping when Amy sent a message that she was at mom's. I finished up quickly then headed over to visit. Tonight Phil, Anna, Mark and I went to the Paradice Hotel for a Trane awards dinner. It was raining when we arrived so Mark dropped me off at the door. The food was a buffet line with salad, 3 kinds of salad dressing, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices and shredded cheese, a bread roll with butter, green beans, mashed potatoes, chicken breast smothered in a sauce, salmon and some small slices of roast beef with a sauce on the side. I never thought to take a picture. Dessert was a very large piece of chocolate cake.
IT was too big and too rich to eat the entire slice. After dinner came the speeches then finally the awards. Phil won the Ductless Dominator award.
We visited with a few people but then needed to leave for home. It was raining and Rosalie was still outside. We got home just after 9:00 pm. I quickly changed then drove up to the barn with some grain in a bucket, called Rosalie and she followed the bucket into the barn enjoying bites of grain on the way. She is progressing but still no waxing.
