You Should Watch

After a good night's sleep AND after a couple good strong cups of coffee all the work left last night was finished in less than an hour. I'm thankful for such a small house when it comes times to cleaning it, not so thankful during family meals. We arrived at church at 9:38 and Joan had already arrived with mom.  Tim Funk had the morning message, reminding us that it was Sept 11th and the awful day 21 years ago then read out of Job. Tim Roecker had the afternoon message starting the Galatians Bible study. After church we stopped at Aldi and of course saw quite of few other's from the Peoria church who also stopped there.  Not a Sunday activity but when we make the trip all the way in to Peoria we take the time to grab needed groceries. I remember when there were no stores open on Sundays and now we find ourselves actually shopping. We had 10 grandchildren here and the only mom was me. Ben and Taunya's family couldn't come today as the Rumbolds were all getting together and the rest of the women in our family are down in Gulf Shores on a all girls trip. We had a very good time today. The kids were working hard splitting rocks and finding Indian beads and fossils in the rocks. They hardly wanted to come in for supper.

Dinner tonight was spaghetti with meat sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, and parmesan cheese, lettuce salad, French bread and for dessert Nolan brought pumpkin cookies. After dinner the guys went over to the playground for volley ball but the grandkids wanted to stay hunting for treasures in the rocks. Once everyone left Mark put on the Chosen series. If you have never watched it you should.
