Marshmallow Catapult

Mom had a good night and was able to go to church today. Joan brought her and I stayed with her for the first service and lunch.  She was very glad to be there and see everyone. She slept through a lot of the afternoon service but we don't blame the speaker for that, mom is on muscle relaxers for the contracting muscles and it makes her very mellow. David had the afternoon message on the Cloud Rider. He said this was part 1 of a trilogy.

Right after church the pork roast was put in the oven, the potatoes were set on to boil then Mark and I moved the 2 horse trailer to the other side to make room for the 5th wheel that camping trailer. We had just finished that job when the man bringing it arrived. Once it was parked and plugged in a took a few more pictures. This is a better picture of the kitchen and the shower.

There is a sliding curtain that easily closes which gives the bedroom privacy.
There is a pocket door on the other side of the shower which gives privacy from the living area.
When I finished with the pictures I noticed one of my gloves was missing. After searching for about 10 minutes I finally gave up. It is probably in the horse trailer as I took an adapter for the extension cord out of that and had to take my glove off to get it off the cord. While up at the barn the cat was fed. The cat was glad to see me. With this cold and ice I haven't been spending much time up at the barn. The airbnb guest left this morning. Anna stopped in to put the laundry in the machine then came down here for supper. We were missing 2 families today. Sarah and Nolan stayed home as Eden vomited in church and Lee and Rhoda's 4 day old baby is too young to be out visiting. We had a delicious meal of fork tender pork roast served with mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed broccoli florets, a big salad and Hawaiian rolls. For dessert hot apple pie with ice cream and brownie bites for the kids that didn't want apple pie.  After supper and after the volleyball players left the crafts were brought out. Today we painted night lights.

Once those were drying we made catapults with popsicle sticks and rubber bands and shot marshmallows at the 2 grandpas and each other.  We had marshmallows everywhere.
Before the glow in the dark glue was applied everyone had a competition on who could pick up the most marshmallows.  We sure did have a lot of fun today.
