New Air Conditioner

Another beautiful day. I took mom to Costco this morning for her new hearing aids. That took about an hour which gave me time to shop for tomorrow's meal of haystacks. When we got back Phil was here installing our new air conditioner. We are back to Central air!  Elisabet likes that dinner and we will be celebrating her 5th birthday tomorrow after church. The stalls were cleaned up then Oksana brought in and put in one while Indy and her filly were put in another stall. The other 3 mares and foals were out in the pond pasture grazing by our house.

Our Airbnb guests that were coming in have a handicapped child in a wheel chair and she loves horses.  They arrived while Mark was out mowing and I was cleaning off the golf cart. They were introduced to the horses in the stall then the golf cart used to give them a tour of the place. They were taken to the cabin to feed the horses there and loved the experience.  I left them with the golf cart and drove to Casey's to fill up the car which was almost on empty and pick up a couple pizza's for dinner as we were expecting Ben and Taunya's kids for the evening. BUT Casey's again had NO GAS.  Today is Ben and Taunya's16th anniversary and they were going to celebrate it with dinner at a real restaurant. We put those kids to work making a path from the new barn to the dumpster. Below we are loading up the rakes and forks to drive over to the barn. They got to ride in the back of the car.

We had two big piles of mulch that needed to be spread and they all went right to work.

Mark was busy weed whacking around the barn and then the path.
When we finished they posed for a picture before heading in to play in the new barn.

After the tools were put away and as a reward for their good work I took them to Dollar General to buy some squirt guns and a few other things. We had an epic water fight.

Below is a video of the activities tonight.
Addyson helped put Oksana and Indy out for the night. We put them in the field next to Evan and tomorrow I will need to move them in the pond pasture with the other mares as there is no hay bale in that field. There is plenty of grass for tonight.  Addyson and I cleaned the stalls then joined in the boys water gun fights. We sure had a good day.
