Jury's Brand New Colt SOLD

I was up twice during the night to check on Jury and each time she was standing quietly in the stall. I got up at 5:00 am checked and she had already had the foal. This was a big tall all black colt. I'm not sure exactly when but by the time I got out to the barn he was trying to stand but still all wet. I snapped a few pictures of him once he was standing.

The resident cat  which we call The Granddaughter as she is the grand daughter of the grandmother cat Emily brought from her place, was staring down at the new colt. She is always there as a mare is delivering.  She walks along the top boards of the stalls, then picks a good place to sit and watch.

I waited until he was rooting around in the right place before heading back into the house to make breakfast for Mark.
I left for mom's at 7:00 am brushed her hair and was going to take her over to see the new colt when the rain started so we cancelled the walk.  Diane was called to tell her about the new colt and the walk being cancelled and she replied, "good, I'm still in bed." then added, "down in Gulf Shores!"  Turned out they left yesterday around noon and got in about 1:00 am. Galena and Oksana needed to be loaded by 7:50 am as they had an 8:30 am appointment at Hoerr Vet clinic for ultrasounds for pregnancy checks.  Galena was put in the stocks first while we waited for Dr. Hoerr to finish up an emergency.

Oksana was tied to the outside of the trailer to wait for her turn.
Below Dr. Hoerr is looking for the embreyo.
He FOUND it:
Galena was bred to Evan and is due March 7th, 2022. She is also for sale as a 2/1 package for $7500.00 as I want to make my life a little easier and have less horses to care for. BUT if she doesn't sell I won't be disappointed, this is going to be one beautiful HAIRY foal!  Galena was taken to the trailer and Oksana brought inside for her ultrasound. Dr. Hoerr found the embryo right away.
She too is pregnant and due March 16th, 2022. Oksana is not for sale. Yes I have to cut back on horses but she is not one I'm willing to part with. They were loaded up and by the time I got on the expressway the rain was coming down in sheets. By the time I reached Hanna City it had slowed down a bit so the horses were unloaded quickly. Then Lola and her colt brought inside the indoor arena and out of the rain. That colt is only 2 days old and should not be out in the rain.
He was having a ball galloping around stirring up dust. Check out the tail on that colt in the picture above. He is going to have lots of mane and tail and be non fading black. He is for sale for only $4000.00. The phone rang about then and it was a man that wanted to buy Jury's new colt. He sent the deposit by Paypal. The colt was marked sold when I went back inside. Pictures were taken of him now that he is dried out. He really IS gorgeous! He was trotting around his mom.

He even tried to throw in a buck.
The rain started up hard again and continued most of the day. Mark drove mom and me to church. Mike Kaisner had the 4th message on the end times series. After church the rain was coming down so hard we were driving through a lake going DOWN the hill on Sterling and then going up Farmington hill the water and mud on the road was so deep we were throwing water like a motor boat. Mark couldn't go more than 25 miles and hour and this was going UP a hill. Our drive going straight up is washed out pretty bad and we have guests coming in tomorrow.
