We got a shock this morning after breakfast. More on that later. This morning early we all sat on the balcony to watch the sunrise then coffee was taken out to mom and Aunt Jinnie while breakfast was prepared. After breakfast Diane and Beth left to do an errand for mom which was to pick up Aunt Jinnie's surprise birthday bouquet of beautiful carnations. The tradition that has been going on for years is for mom to give Aunt Jinnie carnations but usually she has to ship them to New Jersey. Tomorrow is really Aunt Jinnie's 92nd birthday so today really was a surprise.

Moving Day
We were visiting in the living room when Aunt Jinnie walked over to the kitchen counter and was visiting with Diane, mom and Beth when Nolan walked by, looked down and at first thought Aunt Jinnie had spilled a full glass of wine then he realized she was bleeding.
/Somehow she had bumped her leg and didn't realize it had torn the skin. The blood was running down her leg and filling her sandals before pooling onto the floor. Aunt Jinnie is not on any blood thinners nor does she take baby aspirin so this was a real shock to us. We grabbed some napkins and had Aunt Jinny hold her leg tight. We got her to the recliner, had her lay back with her leg resting up on pillows all the while holding the napkin tight against her leg. Beth ran to Pier 33 and quickly bought first aid supplies.
Once it was wrapped we had mom and Aunt Jinnie move to the balcony to enjoy the sunshine while they rested. We saw the Blue Angels practicing.
Diane and Nolan left for Orange Beach for the closing on Sarah and Nolan's condo. Eden came outside to play with her stuffed animals. Beth brought them a cutie all peeled for refreshment along with more water which we were pushing Aunt Jinnie to drink after all that blood loss.
We watched a pelican skimming over the water and then the parasails came out, the beach was starting to get crowded again.
Diane and Nolan came back with the job accomplished. Sarah and Nolan are now the owners of a condo at the Sands in lovely Gulf Shores, Alabama. That meant Nolan and I went to work emptying the trailer and truck while mom, Diane, Beth and Aunt Jinnie went to the pool at Lani Kai. Rhoda soon came to help with the moving of furniture from the trailer up the stairs into the new condo and then up another flight of stairs to the bedrooms. When Iris woke up Lee also came to help with the moving and by 6:40 all furniture was inside and the new bunk beds put together. There was still the furnace to move up into the unit. Rhoda and I tried but it was just too heavy. That took Nolan and Lee to get it up into the condo then up the next flight of stairs. They were not able to get it into the attic, that will take Phil and Anna's help. We were too exhausted to go out to eat and ordered Pizza which Rhoda picked up. After supper I drove the truck over to Island Royale, picked up my pillow and blankets, left them the truck and took mom's car back to Nolan's. Lee and Nolan were putting together the new bed frames then they left and we quit. I'm going to sleep good tonight.
