Pictures from July 3rd, 2020

Our 3rd of July was so very hot. Mark worked on trimming trees with Mackenson for 3 hours and by the time he came in he was exhausted. He needed a long rest before heading in to work. I spent most of the afternoon hosing off horses and trying to keep them cool.
We left for Middle Grove at 4:45 pm and spent the rest of the evening some swimming, some playing in the creek, going on a safari, pizza for supper, an evening cruise and a LONG trip back to the campsite even driving on the road. It was after 10:00 pm before reaching home, dropping mom off then moving mares and foals out of the stalls and out into the fields. These black horses really struggle in this heat.
