Israel's Baseball Game

We had a nice walk this morning, not too hot and a nice breeze. After the walk I went to work moving a bale in for Valiant then teasing mares. I was very disappointed to find Indy back in season. She just doesn't show! It has been exactly 4 months since her colt was born and I still haven't gotten her bred back She was covered by Evan. After that Hadassah and her filly were taken out for a video and pictures. On the way to the stall, she was showing off big time. I should have video'd her then as she galloped around the circle drive showing off to all the other horses.
The filly really needed a bath so they were brought into a stall to halter her and she stood excellent waiting for me to adjust the halter then almost perfect walking into the indoor arena for her bath. The picture above is before her bath. I was very impressed at how she remembered the last one and let me scrub her legs, belly and body off without a fuss. Addyson, Taegan, Jace and Abe came along to help with the pictures and video.
Hadassah had to drop and roll as soon as she was in the round pen.
The picture below is after her bath.

Addyson helped make the video by asking Hadassah to move.

They were taken out to the field to graze. Taegan started petting her and then Kensley joined in.

Taunya took the other kids and went first to Sarah and Nolan's house for supper. Sarah served tacos. We all met up at the park before 6:00 pm which was when the game started.
Israel's team started in the outfield and Israel was on first base. The batter hit the ball toward 2nd, Israel's team mate picked it up and threw it to Israel, he caught the ball and tagged the batter out.

Each time he got up to bat he hit the ball and made it to the bases.

After the game Mark and I stopped at Culvers for a meal and ate it outside at some tables they had set up. I ordered the fish and Mark ordered a salad. Both were good but the fish and fries could have used a little salt which we were told was in the sack but wasn't. It is again past our bedtime and the coffee still needs to be made.
