2 To Middle Grove

The rain held off with just a few sprinkles this morning.  Today Tori and Skye needed to be taken to Middle Grove so as soon as the morning chores were finished they were loaded into the 2 horse trailer and driven out. They were glad to get back out there where there is plenty of grazing.
Sky is in front of Tori. Just for the record Skye was born May 5th, 2017, she is almost 29 months old and just huge. She is out of the Thoroughbred mare Lisheen by Valiant and will probably end up 16.3-17 hands when full grown. Below is a picture of her FULL brother born May 24th, 2019.
This colt will be weaned and ready for his new home when we get back from our trip South. He is registered with Friesian Heritage Horse International with the name Lance HM. He will be just as TALL and just as impressive as his full sister and is for sale for $4000.00. This is for a quality 50% Friesian 50% Thoroughbred colt that has the bone to hold up for any discipline, even jumping but will excel in dressage with that big Friesian movement.  He really IS a fantastic buy at that price.
Skye will be bred to Evan in the spring.
Even though she is just over 2 years old she makes Tori look small.
Above they have heard one of the other horses neigh and below they took off running up and over the hill to find the herd. The clouds were building in the west and threatening rain so I didn't stick around.
This afternoon the apartment bedding and towels were brought to the house to wash and dry and the apartment cleaned and made ready for the next guests. Tomorrow after Mark gets off work we are going to try to move the dryer off to get to the back of the washer. I think the hose is plugged up as no water is getting to the washer. Hopefully it will be an easy fix.
Mark had a 4:00 pm estimate but made it home by 5:40 pm which gave us just enough time to make it to the fellowship hall for the family night dinner.  There was a good turnout, good food and fellowship.
Skip and Carly led the music and Mark Kieser had the message. It was VERY good to be there.
