Giselle

Yesterday Giselle was taken out to Middle Grove and tomorrow I will need to pick her up. She needs a coggins and should be traveling to Texas before the end of this month. The people wanting her are going to love her.

Hoerr vet clinic was called to see when Dr. Hoerr could come out but he is still out of town and the earliest appointment was Sept 19th OR I could bring her in to their office Thursday morning.  I'll be bringing in Tori as she too needs a new coggins and she too is at Middle Grove.  I may as well take Zalena out as her filly named Legend needs to be weaned as she is getting picked up on Sunday.  Legend and Rosaleigh's filly will be put in a stall together as Rosaleigh's filly needs to be weaned AGAIN! Galena's filly and Jenis will have the pond pasture to themselves for a bit.
Abby is now in season and was covered today by Evan. On our walk today when we stopped at Joan's house a beautiful fawn came walking out of the field and over for a visit.

He first checked out Molly to see if she would be a problem but Molly didn't even think of chasing anything that tall.
I was trying to get some pictures and kept backing up but the fawn came right up to check out the camera. You can see his little antler buds.
Then he wandered over to see if Joan had any treats. Joan said he likes fruit especially grapes and apples.
This fawn has adopted Joan's family. He spends a lot of time in the woods but if he sees the kids come out of the house he comes over for treats.
We had a lot of mail at the Berean office and had to work over time to get everything done. If you are interested in what goes on at that office on Tuesday's click HERE.
I was pretty tired when finally home and it is very hot outside so instead of working outside picked up a book Gail sent for Ron Rumblold and started reading.
The golf cart had a flat today, Mark filled the tire and I sprayed soap all over and can't find the leak so maybe it fixed itself. We will see in the morning if the tire stays up.  Diane stopped in with more of that grass fed beef we bought this summer. She is giving it all away as Mike doesn't like it. I took some roasts and ground beef. She was heading to Joan's next.
Sarah sent some pictures from Texas and Gulf Shores. She is in Texas visiting Ben and Taunya while Nolan stayed in Gulf Shores with the Sauder's. Zion and Abe look like they are playing nicely in the picture below.
The guys went fishing off the pier and had quite a morning.

Those fish were really nice sized, Caleb laid down as reference.
