Ripper Sold

We had quite a storm move through this morning around 7:30.  I know that was the time as that is when the internet was knocked out.  The rain that came down came so hard we could not see the paddocks or barn.  Within 10 minutes over an inch of rain came pounding down and by the time the storm moved on we had a total of around an inch and a half of much needed rain. I had just fed the horses and all of that grain that didn't get eaten had to be dumped along with the half of bucket of rain water.  Below are pictures of the horses coming up for their breakfast before the rain hit.
Rosaleigh's filly came up to see Evan, her sire. The mares just ignored him as they are both pregnant.
Below they are heading to the far gate which is where they come up for their grain. The other mare and foal pair in the pond pasture is Zalena and her filly by Evan. Both of these fillies are spectacular. Zalena's filly is sold but Rosaleigh's filly is still available.
Our Airbnb guests moved out and sent me the text below.
Judith, we’re heading out. Thank you so much for letting us stay on your farm. This has been an amazing stay and has gone beyond our wildest expectations. I’ve placed the key back in the lockbox and have locked the front door. We’ve done a walkthrough to make sure we’re not leaving anything behind. We loved staying here and will gladly do it again when we’re in the area!
I know the children enjoyed their stay, they got to go on golf cart rides, play on the playground and play on the beach even swimming a bit with their grandma who lives in the area.  We will be glad to welcome them back.  The next guests arrived shortly after 1:00 pm. They are here for the motorcycle races and drove up on 3 Harley's.  There are 6 of them staying in the apartment tonight.
They too left a nice message once they got here then left for the races.  There was originally only 4 but another couple also needed a place to stay and they asked if there would be room to sleep six.  I pulled out the queen air bed and blew that up when cleaning the apartment so the 3rd couple would not need to sleep on the couch.
The apartment is beautiful and the cookies are delicious! Is there any awning or anything to park the motorcycles under tonight with the rain? If not totally fine, just thought we’d ask. Thank you so much for the air mattress. We really appreciate your hospitality.
Of course I sent a message that they could park in the indoor arena and will leave the barn lights on for them.
Anna dropped the girls off this morning. It was still raining so we played inside with the cowboy and Indian toys. They made a lake with my big frying pan and had fun watching the canoes float.

This afternoon the lady that is buying Hadassah saw the video of Ripper and asked to buy him too. She loves gray horses and this way will have a matched pair.  Ripper and Hadassah are in the same paddock and now will be going to their new home in Arkansas together.  I'm so glad they will be together.
Mike rode him on the trails yesterday and reported that his canter was very smooth and balanced. We were working on his canter before he was hauled back out to Middle Grove. It is nice to know not only did he remember his training, he improved on it these last few months.  He really is a special horse.
A beautiful picture and text came from Rhonda. She and Spark are in Alaska and Rhonda writes: We are among the 10% blessed to have a clear day and a gorgeous view of Mount Denali. Staying at our first lodge tonight. Judy, would you show this to Mom and tell her we are among the living and having a great time.
Joan, Diane or Beth would you please tell mom to look at the blog so she can see Rhonda's picture.  They all flew down to Gulf Shores, AL today and will be gone for a week. Even Molly got to go.  They are actually flying to Destin, FL. Round trip tickets were less than a hundred dollars each.  Destin is just 2 hours from Gulf Shores and they are renting a car to make that 2 hour trip. The flight is a 2 hour flight so instead of driving 14 hours and spending all day they are only actually traveling 4 hours total but had to show up at the airport an hour early so had a travel time of 5.
