Finding Treasure in the Woods

We had an amazing day from the start to the finish. Sunday's are always the best day of the week but today was extra special. It started with our morning sermon. Greg Rumbold gave the message and opened up to Isiah 55, one of my very favorite chapters in the old Testament.  His message was truly inspiring and for sure as soon as it is up on AC Central I will be listening to that again. Tim Roecker had the afternoon message on Mark and that too was inspired.  After church as soon as we got home I ran up to the barn. Karin had 2 of Chad and Julie's girls out for a trail ride and on that ride, down on the 'death trails' they found a treasure.
Livy saw the antler sticking out of the creek and told Karin. Karin climbed off Galena and pulled it out of the mud and brought it back to the barn for the girls.
Around here we say finders keepers so Livy and Emma got to take that treasure home with them. Rebekah came next to work with Galena. Rebekah is learning how to train and doing very well with this young gypsy filly.

Sarah and Nolan arrived with their brand new baby Eden and Eden's big sister Zion.  Mom got to hold her newest great grand daughter. There are quite a few more greats on the way and I'm not sure exactly how many greats all together but I know it is a LOT.

Zion wanted to hold her too.
Rhoda and Lee arrived and as soon as Ruby was out of the car she ran up to greet Zion. Ruby loves Zion and Zion loves playing with Ruby.
We were really glad to see Iris. She is over 8 months old now.
Mark cooked some shrimp and brought over the plate below as an appetizer passing it out to everyone who arrived early.
Phil came with Kensley but Anna had a cold so stayed back with Braelyn and Tagean. Diane, Joan, Sarah, Faith, Mackenson and Berlica also came for dinner. Iris is now estranging and only wanted her parents to hold her rejecting all of us grand parents but let Faith hold her. Faith is so talented with babies.
After dinner mom, Sarah, Joan, Faith, Diane and I played Mexican Train and all of us oldies decided we weren't going to let Faith play any more, she is just too young for this game. She beat us all very badly.  Yes she is just too young to realize you have to let the older people WIN.
