Lily gave birth this morning to a gorgeous colt by Valiant. I went out to Middle Grove to check on mares with the truck and trailer intending on bringing Soul and Star home and found Lily and her brand new colt. I had quite a time getting him down to the trailer but that job is done. They were taken right into a stall and his cord iodined. Lily is such a great mom, she waited until AFTER the snow storm and delivered in the sunshine.

I need to get Faith over here soon to hold the foals for a size reference. He is nursing well and Lily has dropped the placenta. Another safe delivery and another healthy foal. THANK YOU LORD!
While at Middle Grove Star, Soul and Foxy's udders were all checked and none of them are bagged up. That should give me at least a week before bringing them in for foaling.
Praise God for a safe birth and healthy colt! Already sold too! Wow!
