Emma and Ebby as Puppies

Dogs AGAIN! We were just remembering when Emma and Ebby were puppies. Ebby was purchased by Mike to give to Diane as a Christmas present on Dec 21st, 2009 and Emma was purchased by us Nov 28th, 2009.  The pictures below were taken the day we brought Emma home. Ben and Taunya brought over our only grandchild at the time little Addyson.

We kept her a couple days until the Honegger Christmas where she was wrapped in a box and given to Diane as a surprise.

They became the best of friends then and 8 years later are still the best of friends.

Emma and Ebby today are still best of friends.  Dogs come and go but Darcy will be remembered as one of the very bests dogs ever!

We had our annual business meeting at church today which is so humbling to hear. After church a drizzle was coming down but the roads weren't too bad until we turned into our drive. The rain would freeze as soon as it hit the snow packed drives. Even then it wasn't terrible until this evening. Phil and Anna were going to be bringing the girls over before volleyball but couldn't make it up the drive. Rachel stopped at Jessica's to pick up her shoes then slid off the drive into the yard. We were able to push her out of the yard and very slowly and carefully they continued to the main road and gunned it to get out of the drive. Right now the drives are sheer ice.  Unfortunately the rain is still coming down but freezing instantly. Not sure ANYONE will get out in the morning. Fortunately it IS suppose to warm up but Unfortunately NOT until Tuesday. Monday's high will come at 1:00 pm of 33 degrees.
