Lighthouse Visits

No walk today, the weather wasn't co-operating by raining right at the time we were suppose to start. Instead I drove down to Meisters early, faxed in our hotel contract and mailed out Emma's transfer FHANA papers for her new owner. With FHANA the seller pays the transfer fee unlike all other registries where the buyer would pay to transfer the horse into their name. It cost $85.00 to transfer Emma out of my name into Valerie's name.
We had a wonderful group of students come today to Berean to wrap Bibles. Check out the Berean blog of pictures and videos of them working by clicking HERE.
We were swamped again with studies. By 3:00 pm we finished stuffing the last study for mailing.

Karin was willing to meet me this afternoon at Middle Grove to help load the foals for weaning. We were hoping to get 4 of the foals in the trailer but were only able to get 3. Really 3 out of 4 isn't too bad. Prissy's colt was the only one we didn't get loaded. He will get to stay out at Middle Grove with his mom for at least another week. The picture below is just as I arrived.

Sangria's colt is huge and was the first foal loaded. Next we loaded Zalena's filly and last Sheena's colt. When I arrived back at the Hanna City farm Tim Reinhard had just driven up so he was shanghai'd into helping Mark and I unload the three and put them in a stall. Ribbon's filly was also put in that stall but she was a bit of a bully so moved into the stall across the hall. This evening after supper I spent an hour with them and was able to handle each one. They really are beautiful babies.
