Treasure Sold

Oh my did we have the mail this morning. The box was full to overflowing. Good thing we have a great Tuesday crew. Diane sat piles of mail on the tables and then watched as each volunteer arrives, sits down and without asking just starts opening the mail.

Dan came by today with Diesel his Great Dane puppy and had to take him out of the office pretty quickly. That boy has a lethal tail. Diesel was wagging his tail so fast it was hitting the copier and knocking things down. I'm wondering how big this boy is going to end up, he is still a puppy. For reference Dan is over 6 feet tall.

Lisa didn't bring any kids down today and when Rhoda walked in we almost started cheering. We put her to work on stamping the return address on envelopes so we could finish processing the studies.
By the time we were ready to break for lunch the office was a mess. The picture below shows a mail tub that WAS empty and now full of the discarded envelopes and finished stamp rolls. The picture below that shows the studies all processed and ready to take to church.

I had to leave right after lunch to meet a lady that was driving down from Michigan to see Treasure and planned on being at the farm at 2:00 pm. They didn't realize there was a time difference and arrived in the area before I could get home so stopped at Ruby Tuesdays for lunch. They were very pleased with Treasure.
The first thing we did was walk Treasure over to the trailer, point her at it and she loaded right up then carefully stepped out. Within minutes Debbie (the lady interested in her) said, "That's it, I'm buying her!"
Of course we had to show them her dad, Evan and Evan just had to show off a bit. I warned them before they came that our place isn't fancy. That doesn't seem to matter much, by the time all the horses were shown off any company that comes doesn't even notice the rest.
Practice went great at choir. We worked on the  Christmas songs and then a few of our harder benefit dinner songs.
Bill Chaffer, Eddie and Christa served lunch at choir and that was quite a spread. Piping hot chili, gondola's made from scratch cake and baklava, and delicious raisin cookies.
I'm not sure HOW I'm going to survive tomorrow. The coffee maker broke this morning.
