Promise

The people coming to see Promise on Saturday asked for some updated pictures so once the rain stopped she was brought out for a few.

 She has such a thick long mop of a mane and tail. I think they will be pleased with her. We didn't walk today, the sprinkling of cold rain combined with cold temperature and wind made all of us choose to stay inside. I had a day home today, getting all the laundry done and the house cleaned. A little house finch came for a visit today. I'm not sure why, there was a flock of them in the tree near the house, this one just came and sat for a while driving the dogs crazy.

 He perched nicely on my fingers and posed for the camera. I placed him in a tree, he sat there for a while then flew off over the house. His bright yellow color is now muted for winter.

The girls are having a good time in Gulf Shores enjoying the Shrimp festival. They are not going to want to come home to real life. At least it is suppose to warm up a bit next week. None of us are looking forward to winter.
