Greeting

Willis had the morning service and brought up a good point. Instead of saying, "greetings" we should say, "what can I do for you." Our morning sermon was on service, as Jesus, the Master washed his disciples feet so should we be willing to do for others. We had a real treat for the afternoon. Ron Kipfer was visiting. He had was at the jail for the morning then had our afternoon service. Reading from Habakkuk then expounding on this: Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat, the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
It was so good to be there it was hard to tear ourselves away. We are truly blessed and highly favored. One not so good thing that happend was my phone went off during the afternoon service. I had it on vibrate but must have bumped it enough that allowed it to ring. On the way home I called the people back and believe I sold Promise, Sangria's yearling filly. They said they are coming on Saturday to pick her up.
We drove home to find a house full. Ben, Taunya, Addyson, Jack, Jace, Phil, Anna, Braelyn, Taegan, David, Stephanie and Israel were already at our house. That proves we stayed too long at church. Sarah, Rhoda and Lee arrived and we all headed to grandma's house since this house is just too small. We were joined by Karin,  Lee's parents, Debby and Lynn along with his sister, Christy. Emily arrived and joined us for the meal. We were 21 for a steak dinner with all the fixins.
When I arrived back here there was a neat email from Amanda the lady that bought Tryn, Eliza's filly by Valiant. She sent this picture:
All of her horses were taking a nap together. What is unusual is that usually a new horse on the property would not feel comfortable enough to lay down. Tryn  is on the far right drowsing in the sunshine with her new herd. Thanks so much Amanda for the picture, looks like she fits right in.
