Sunny Sold

Jenis almost seemed like she was beginning to show this morning to Sunny but when I took her over to Evan she didn't show at all. Emma who is suppose to be in and ready to breed is not showing to anyone. Both mares will need to be teased daily. I can't believe we are already a third into the month of June and don't have these girls bred yet. Zalena and Eliza were moved over to another pasture, Jenis and Emma taken off the pond pasture and put in the middle paddock so they can be teased easier. Ayanna and Violet were let out this morning to graze.

Violet was having a great time galloping around until the rain started up again. Right about that time I snapped this picture of her.She wasn't really complaining about having to come in out of the rain, she had just tasted grass and was trying to get that disgusting green thing out of her mouth.

Karin held vaulting practice this morning with lots of little kids today, it seemed like 50 but there was probably only around 15. I was already late for work so didn't take the camera out. Today the chaplains that were waiting for Bibles were taken care of. The boxes of Bibles were sent out by UPS. I couldn't go straight home, I had to go grocery shopping today, there was not much left in the house. Even Mark was pushing me to go, that's how empty the cupboards and fridge were.
Mark got home from work so late he had 10 minutes to get ready for church so didn't get to eat any supper. After church we stopped at Culvers for chili and fries and visited a bit with the group that migrates there after the Wednesday evening service. We didn't stay late, I still needed to feed, water and clean Ayanna's stall. Her water buckets were filled at 4:30 pm and by the time we got home both of them were empty. That baby must be nursing well. There was an email waiting from Cynthia to say they were going to buy Sunny.

He will be here yet for 2 weeks for Emily to work on his ground manners such as leading, tying and picking out his feet. Emily is great at those things, she is patient but firm, all the horses respond well to her instructions.
