Storm

It was a dark and stormy night, a perfect beginning for a scary story. At least our dogs thought it was scary. We don't know what time the storm started as by the time it woke us up we had no electricity. The lightning flashes were pretty much non stop with continual crashes of thunder. I was feeling pretty bad for mom's dog Heidi thinking she would soon come slamming into our door but that didn't happen. She must have been too terrified to go out of the garage. Darcy has no fear and as long as I was up decided she should go out to use the bathroom. Emma was made to go out but she stayed in front of the door, deciding the rain was coming down too hard to head into the yard. Of course by the time they came in we had the odor of wet dog to deal with.
I'll be heading over to mom's as soon as Mark leaves for work, to check on the dogs there and to check her basement. Her basement bathroom has been flooding this spring each time it rains and rain we are having big time. The thunder storm has passed but the rain continues pounding on the roof, splashing up onto the doors and windows.
Mark checked on all the horses this morning reporting all is well. I am so glad we moved the bale in yesterday for Valiant and Anna.
Diane sent this picture of the volley ball players taken yesterday.
She said they are all having a great time. Today is suppose to be the worst day down at the Gulf but it is bright sunshine and already at 8:00am 69 degrees. Everyday they have had beautiful weather.
Anna posted the pictures below.
Above is Braelyn making sand castles with her daddy and below the grand kids are exercising with Sarah and Emily.

Hey why put on clothes when one lives in a swimsuit most of the day! Correction on the number of the group, mom said there is 37 of them not 35.
