Another Beautiful Sunday

Not the weather, that was cloudy, cold and spitting rain at us every once in a while but there just is something so special about our Sundays. It is just so refreshing to be able to worship with believers of like mind and faith then spend the afternoon and evening with friends and family.
We had dinner here before heading over to the playground. The kids were excited to see the golf cart. Hannah took all who wanted for a drive.
Mom came zooming up on her bright yellow 4 wheeler then sat right in front guarding it from the kids. Can't you just see her face as she is telling them all to "stay away!"  The truth is that's Diane's 4 wheeler and mom is telling to me to turn off the camera but the other story is way more entertaining.
Spark and Rhonda soon joined us. We are always glad to see someone bringing a guitar.
Ruth and Fedi showed up just in time to get the fire going better. Fede was showing us his grumpy face.
He is the best fire builder for the evening campfires.
Emily Ricketts arrived and started moving in. The kids took the golf cart over and asked if she could come out and play. When she got over to the fire everyone started telling her how much they needed her. This girl is going to be busy for the next few months!
Dan's son Abram caught a huge bull frog.
We told Sarah if she would kiss it her surly her prince would arrive.
She thought about it then told us, may as well give it a try and puckered up.
then decided she didn't want a prince that bad!
When Abram asked Rhoda if she would like to try, she said, "forget the prince, I'm sticking with AC's"
The fire felt good, it was just downright cold for the second day of June. The old folks are all sitting around while the young folks are playing volleyball and the younger ones driving around with the golf carts while the youngest cuddle up on laps.
The daylight started to fade as Rachel brought out the makings for somemores. After that sticky treat Karin took a bunch over to Rachel's house to play carbols, the game Phil and Anna brought back from Winthrup, MN.
It was hard to leave the warmth and beauty of the fire but Eliza and her colt still needed to be fed and watered.
