Sometime during the night the electricity turned back on, the running of the sump pump woke us up. The clocks were reset and the coffee prepared for morning then it was back to bed. Below are a few pictures of yesterday. Killian is now 2 years old and deserved his own photo gallery page so Steven spent extra time in the water trying to get the ever present mud off.
He is already showing his magnificence, imagine what he is going to look like when mature and full grown.
The boys were brought out next. Most of their pictures were placed on face book but below are a few of my favorite.
Above is Evan waiting his turn, notice Valiant and Steven in the pond behind him. Below Evan is giving Steven quite a ride across the pond.
Once he was clean he was let loose in the field for a fun run.
Valiant is pictured below, we didn't get a lot of running pictures of Valiant, he dropped and rolled in the mud pretty quickly.
Ribbon was brought over from the cabin, she is not in season but will be left here, it is too hard to remember to tease her when she isn't available. She was put in the paddock with Hadassah so the 2 foals can become acquainted. By 6:40am the horses were fed, the stalls cleaned and Marika put out loose in the field with 3 water buckets. I'm so short of paddocks until some of the outside mares leave.
