Another Beautiful Day 2 in a Row!

The news on the walk was that Airiah, Jenni Moser's mare, had a big black boy last night and it hadn't yet nursed. Karin called with an update and gave me Jenni's phone number. By the time I arrived at her farm the boy was more than ready to latch on. This is one of the special ones, one of the last Raven's sons.
Once he had nursed well on both sides and his cord iodined Jenni took me around to see her other Raven offspring. Below is Palmer out of Salina by Raven born 4 years ago.
He is joined by his full sister 3 year old Bella in the picture below, both are now trained undersaddle.
Next to visit was Shadow, Airiah's last year filly by Raven. She is tall and very hairy along with being 87.5% Friesian:

As I was driving home from Jenni's Diane called to report a stallion in with the mares. Killian had broken through 2 boards to get in with Jenis who is now showing. We decided to try all three boys together. We had no problem at all with either boy picking on Killian but had to break up a couple of fights between Valiant and Evan, silly boys! Rhoda brought Ayanna out for some training, in the picture below the three boys are lining up for a good view.
Ayanna is just a beautiful mare, Rhoda worked on her trick training.
Karin, Rhoda and I worked on training Valiant to wait to jump until asked to jump. It took 5 tries before he listened and quietly went up to the mare then waited for permission to jump. He covered Novella then Evan was brought out to cover Lexi, both were still in big. Jenis is now coming in, Holly and Lily pony are also both in. The boys were all behaving very well together so Rhoda took Darcy over for a swim, or was that Darcy took Rhoda?
Diane brought her grand daughter Irelyn over to visit Jenis and Ayanna.

That little 2 year old girl shows no fear!
Mom and Diane went out to mark trees that need to be taken down during the work day scheduled May 11th, mom had a good night sleep for the first time in over a week but a bad day today. The medicine she was taking caused her to get sick then made her sleepy all day. She barely woke up in time to get ready for church. Ralph and Jamie arrived for a short catch up visit and it was good to see them both. They left about 10 minutes before Diane picked me up for church. Ken Hoerr had the service, the second lesson on our John Bible study. It was very good.
