Dr. Hoerr had an emergency then ended up doing a necropsy so I ended up driving her to his office at 8:30 pm. After her clean out and shots we decided she needed another lavage which Dr. Hoerr will do in the morning. Zalena spent the night at the clinic and will need to be picked up in the morning. If a retained placenta is left untreated all kinds of bad things can happen. A scarred unusable uterus, founder and a septic horse. By catching and treating her all will be well.
Now for the bad news. The shop flooded, the water is almost up to the loading dock. The entire parking lot is one big lake. The guys worked hard yesterday to prepare and got as much upstairs as possible but the water just kept coming. The entire first floor of the main building is under water. I will try to get pictures.
