Deep Freeze a Coming
The weather news is grim, the most frigid air of the last 4 years is spilling down from Canada and on the way now. That wasn't the only item spilling down from Canada. Yesterday afternoon the sky was filled with noisy Canada geese all headed South fleeing the extreme coming cold. As the camera was in hand it was put to use. This is a double whammy after yesterday's warmth of almost 50 degrees.
Oh well we will count yesterday warm weather as a rare January gift. I am very thankful for everything that got accomplished. The website really needs to be updated but ftp is claiming the password is not correct. How can that be? There are people calling or emailing wanting to buy Sangria's sold colt. Some of them get upset when told, "he is already sold and gone." When I mentioned we still have a filly, one man was actually rude on the phone. Philip was busy helping Ben's brother-in-law in Kewanee and not available. I need to get going on the outside feeding chores but dread stepping outside away from the fire in the wood burner.
We are leaving early for church today to help Ruth and Fede prepare lunch for the Peoria church.
