Fence Lines

Today was the first day of school, we had to make sure we were heading Rachel's way as the boys were leaving so she could record the day. Luke, Logan are Heidi are ready to head out to school.

Oh wait, Heidi already graduated, she stayed and finished the walk with us. After the walk Jenis was brought over to see if she was coming in and thankfully she said No to Raven. Eliza and both fillies were brought over with her. They will be left here until after the scheduled ultrasounds for Jenis, Prissy, Lola, Clair and Mytross. They were left in the field while I worked on repairing a downed fence line in the pond pasture. As usual Eliza is watching the kids while Jenis is out gallivanting around!

Once the fence was up they were put in the last paddock with the back gate left open so they had access to the woods for shade and the pond to cool off in. Below are a couple pictures of the fillies playing. The first is called, "do you want to dance."

Mom invited John, Beth, Mark and I for dinner. She served a delicious pot roast with all the trimmings. So nice not to have to cook. Mark left to work on the perimeter fence line while I went back to study. Anni and Jessica are hosting the girl's retreat. A big camp fire was started as the evening is cool. Rachel brought her guitar over and led the singing.
