Efficient
Work was done most efficiently today. By going in early and getting the copy machine fixed and running before 9:00am was a big boost to our productivity today. While Eva Jean opened the mail I kept the copy machine running at full blast. Between the 2 of us we were able to finish by 11:00am giving us time to run to the Bartonville post office where we picked up 240 dollar stamps (all they had) and 12 rolls of first class stamps which are now 45 cents each. By the time we made it back to Meister's Spark was ready to head out to lunch. Phil drove separate, Anna and Braelyn were already there waiting and we were joined by Gail Hodel and Rhonda Meister our workers from last week.
Dr. Hoerr called to say he was on his way to the farm while we were still at Denny's. Once Spark and Eva Jean were dropped off at Meisters it was rush to the farm to meet him. After the sad decision was made and Dr. Hoerr left it was back to Peoria to get the oil changed in the car then off to Sams club for groceries. Today is Mark's birthday and I wanted to cook him one of his favorite meals. By the time I was home for the second time today Steven Marchal was here working Valiant in the indoor arena. The next thing he sees is Evan out bothering the mares. Mindy pony is in season and Evan just couldn't resist.
Steven tied up Valiant, grabbed a lead rope and took Evan back where he belonged.
Once he was done with Valiant the 2 boys had to show off a bit in the dry thirsty field.
Valiant shows off his mane with a big head toss as he is running.
They sure are fun to watch as they gallop around the fields.
