Bow Gone

Bow was picked up this morning around 7:30 giving me plenty of time to get ready for Barb Schafer's funeral. Rachel and Spark also needed to be at church around 9:00am and rode in with me. The weather took a dramatic drop from yesterday with the wind blowing and 46 degrees by the time we reached the cemetery. Spark says the shivering makes the vibrato sound better. Once back at the farm, Raven is in the field with Zalena and Ylse. Zalena is obviously now considered in a standing heat. Ylse and Zalena were let out into the big field with the rest of the mares while Raven was left in their pasture for some grazing time.
The mares were so pretty out in the field. The camera was taken out and the picture below is Jenis heading over to meet Raven.
The golf cart was taken in to Lily's pasture for a few pictures.
Helen heard me coming and thought it wise to get up.
Once up it is time for a good scratch.
Check out the neck on this filly. Her conformation can't be faulted and this is where the if onlys could be spoken but we will not dwell on the if onlys instead we will rejoice in her beauty.
The rest of the pictures were placed on her page. Steven arrived to teach a lesson and offered to help get Zalena covered later. Once that was accomplished he brought Evan out for his second day under saddle. Today Steven asked Evan to trot under saddle for the first time.
It really is a dream come true to see Evan and Valiant working under saddle.
