Special Phone Number

We received over 2 inches of rain according to the news but it sure seemed like more. The feed buckets will all need to be dumped. At least it wasn't snow, we would have been buried.

Mom wanted to bring the bacon for our breakfast proving she could make it perfectly when we aren't around to distract her. Ruth showed up with another pound of that wonderful salty treat just in case mom burnt hers. We also had fluffy scrambled eggs with just a touch of cheese added and pancakes served with melted butter and real maple syrup. Aldi is now selling real maple syrup. When we were kids I remember dad tapping the big maple tree by the back door at Pleasant Home and mom cooking the syrup down.
After breakfast Anna brought Braelyn over to play while she helped Philip out on the big machines at Meisters.
Now that Braelyn is mobile, crawling and pulling herself up the dogs need to be locked away from her. Their tails can hurt us when they are wagging and when Braelyn comes those tails really start wagging. We found chairs work well to keep the dogs on one side and Braelyn on the other, just have to put up with the whining.

The picture below was taken just because she is so cute. Braelyn would crawl under the table pull herself up then walk back and forth along the rail pretty proud of herself.

Diane was the hero last night. She drove her van to church picking up mom, Spark, Rhonda, Mark, me and Ruth. She picked us all up at our homes so we could run out dodging the raindrops while scrambling inside an already warmed up car.
Ken Hoerr had the service opening up to God's phone number Jeremiah 33:3. I still remember the first time told about God having a phone number. Sure made it easy to remember. The second opening was Revelations 20. It actually seemed the service was on repentance, forgiveness and restoration. EXACTLY what I'd been praying about. ME, I'm the one that needs to repent of my hardened heart, ask for forgiveness, then can hope for the last part.
