We Made It
After a 19 hour drive we pulled into a beautiful horse farm. The farm was 50 to 100 acres, all of the barns were replicas of the old new England stylle with beautiful wood rafters and towers. Each barn was immaculatly landscaped. There were gorgeous numerous large grass paddocks with split rail cedar fencing. There wasn't a wire or steel post in sight. We were introduced to Killian, our new purebred Friesian stud colt, then walked over to admire his very elegant dam. We were thrilled to see how tall Killian is, and impressed with how majestic his dam was. To see the thick curley feather on her was a huge plus. This boy already has long thick feather. he loaded with a bit of assistance and off we started for home. Our estimated time of arrival is 3:30am Monday. We are tired after the long night, hope we can keep driving and don't need long breaks.
