Top Stallion?
One of Karin's vaulter parents came to the door yesterday. Her son works for Brock and Britney Reinebach of www.bbreinebach.com where a Raven daughter went for training a couple of days ago. He asked his mom excitedly, "Mom, do you know the Meisters?" Then went on to say, "do you know they have the TOP STUD in the WORLD?" She told him, "that's where your sister goes for vaulting." When he asked her if she ever saw Raven she said she didn't pay a lot of attention but was pretty sure she had seen him. Now we are NOT claiming Raven is the top stud in the world. But if someone says it does it make it true? I explained to her Mintse is the top Friesian stud in the world and we bought one of his sons. An approved stallion like Mintse is around a million bucks and we didn't spend that on Raven. After thinking it over I believe I know how the misunderstanding came. We bought Evan out of Mintse, they probably told him he is the son of the top stud in the world and knowing teenagers they heard top stud and went from there. We don't mind this rumor at all. To us RAVEN IS the top stud. Isn't he beautiful, bum knee and all.
