Another Beautiful Day

Bunni and Paris were taken to the Old School Center by 8:00am and put in the paddock Dan had prepared while the cotton candy supplies were set up at the front of the school. Sunday's are always a slow day and many samples were given but not many sales. Steven got Jewel covered at the farm then showed up before noon, saddled the horses and had 10 people in line waiting by the time he had them ready. Karin and her youth group arrived at 12:30pm, they took over the cotton candy making and jumped right in to help Steven with the pony rides. The ponies were busy, people came and wanted to know WHERE is DUKE! Over and over they were told Duke is sold but Paris is really good, "try Paris, she is REALLY good." One grandmother of a 4 year old tells me to raise my right hand and promise Paris will be here next year, if not she is going to hunt me down.
While working a phone call came from the shipper, JoHanna will be picked up tomorrow evening for her trip to Florida. We took Paris, Bunni and Sangria out and brought back Ciera for Steven to start under saddle training. JoHanna and Indy are sharing a stall. JoHanna is taking the loss of her mom very well. We had been separating them for a 30-40 minutes each day leaving JoHanna with Indy. Tomorrow we will need to separate Indy from JoHanna. They both like grain so that shouldn't be a problem.
It looks like Jakob is sold, the buyer will be picking him up at weaning in December. He is sending along a large down payment. Jakob will be marked sold as soon as it arrives. This is the buyer's second Raven son. Nice to have repeat customers, they know what they're getting and we know the foals are going to a great home.
We need to make a video of Super, there is a lady from Tennessee interested in seeing how he moves. She is very experienced and sounds like a great home for him. Tomorrow will be busy!
