Snow Geese
Driving to the farm this morning the sun was shining brightly on fields that were white and sparkling with hoar frost. A gaggle of about 10 beautiful white snow geese took off from a field, rose into the air and flew right above the car. The verses in Lamentations 3:22&23 started running through my head. It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness. How thankful we are that His mercies are new each morning, what a gift to see such beauty.
Mike moved in three round bales this morning, one for the middle paddock, one for Ribbon's paddock and one for the herd in the back.
On the walk, mom picks up a jagged piece of ice thinking it was glass. Her gloves were on and it did look remarkably like glass. Rachel made the comment if mom was going to start picking up all the ice she was going to be at it a LONG time.
