Frozen Tracks

The day started early and everything was moving along at a good speed. There were a few bumps in the road but nothing to worry about. First on the list was to collect the change from the apartments. There is one hallway my key doesn't work. After collecting the other 3 hallways, then waiting for someone to let me in finally decided there must be another way. Tromped through the snow to the front door and even though no one would answer the buzzer, I was able to move the lock enough to get that door opened. Wouldn't you know those machines in that hallway were the only ones full to the brim with quarters. Down to the bank to deposit the quarters and the lady putting them through the machine forgot about the bag below to catch the quarters and they ended up all over the floor. Had to wait while she picked them all up before she would dump the next bag.
Both checks we were waiting on came in and both needed to be deposited into 2 different banks which meant a trip to 3 different banks today.
Mark wanted 11 of his ties drycleaned so the good wife that I am, headed to the cleaners, except when I get to Western my car automatically turns right to go to Aldi instead of left to the cleaners. Oh well treats were picked up for our trip tomorrow THEN up the hill to the cleaners. Once there I ask, "how much is it to dry clean a tie?" and was told $3.55 EACH!!! and Mark is having 11 of them cleaned. I used to BUY a TIE for $3.00.
Steven Marchal had agreed to meet me at the farm at 10:00am to move in round bales. We wanted to leave plenty of hay in each paddock before leaving the country. He got there before I did, jumped in the skid steer, turned it on and went NO WHERE. The tracks were frozen solid from clearing snow. After working on it over an hour Ralph was called. He brought out his fantastic blower heater and only an hour more of melting needed to take place before the skid steer would run. What we thought would be an hour of work turned into 3 and a half hours.
The hay was moved but we were pretty frozen by the time all was done. So thankful for good help today and so looking forward to heading south.
