Bibles, HUNDREDS of Them

Eva Jean pulled in first ready to work and work we did. Today along with the studies we mailed out hundreds of Bibles to prisoners.

These Bibles the Peoria AC young group wrapped for us. Each one must be taken out of the box, labeled with the prisoners name, number and address, stamped with 3 dollar stamps and one 17 cent stamp, boxed back up and loaded into the car. It is a big job but one Eva Jean does willingly. Below are most of them ready to be loaded into my car for the trip to the post office.

Aunt Bernie and Uncle Ed came in with 3 Romanian officials. Berean is hosting them this week and they came to see everything Berean does. Fedi Davidovics, Ruth's husband is usually with them to interpret but wasn't today, still they seemed to be understanding each other.

When we were finally done we took off in Spark's car for lunch at Dennys.

After lunch it was off to the post office to drop off the Bibles then to my sister Beth's house to pick up some meat that had freezer burn. The meat will be cooked up for the dogs as a special treat. Beth also gave me another book to read by Beverly Lahaye and Terri Blackstock titled Times and Seasons and Season of Blessings 2 books in one. Can't wait to get into it but this will just have to wait. Karin showed up to ride Autumn and after the ride she said, "that mare just floats around the arena." We will really miss her if she sells.
Sams was the next stop for goodies for the choir Christmas party tonight.
Steven called before Sams was left to tell me that the skid steer was running but needed fuel, he left it running, ran to Fast Stop where he met Mike, got 10 gallons of diesel fuel and then the skid steer died. We are thinking it is too cold and the diesel fuel is gelling. Mike was able to get the John Deere started allowing he and Steven to move in a new alfalfa round bale for Raven & Sanna, a grass bale for Ribbon & Velvet and a grass bale for Izadora, her 2010 colt, Aragon, Sandy and Xena. The bitter cold makes everything work hard. It is NOT suppose to be this cold this quickly!
