Skeleton in the Closet
Ok, maybe not in our closet but there was at least a part of a skeleton right in the middle of the dam. We are walking to Rachel's this morning and almost trip over the skull of either an alien or an animal.
At the farm there is a mare in for breeding with a Raven filly by her side. The camera will be taken out today for pictures, Xena the filly is gorgeous! Her dam is a quarter horse and we can't tell the difference between Xena and a purebred Friesian filly, proving once again Raven throws himself. The mare is Rachel Sauder's palomino mare Sandy and this is the 3rd Raven foal she has had, each pitch black! Rachel wants to breed her late in the year so she has the use of Sandy all summer without a foal by her side. We do the same with Izadora so even though it is late November Raven still has 2 more customers.
A very nice surprise waited for me at my Bridlewood paddock. Someone, I'm pretty sure it was LAURA, not only cleaned the paddock, also a new wheel was installed on the heavy gate. Laura is making it so easy to keep the paddock clean, who knows there may be horses in it all winter!
