She has done something to her fetlock, he sent these pictures, if anyone has seen an injury like this and has any advice for him please don't hesitate to email. There are no vets where he lives.
He wrote that the mare is in pain but he does not think anything is broken.
The only advice I could give was to soak it 4-5 times a day for 20 minutes at a time with cool water and see if it starts to improve. Hopefully someone out there has dealt with this and can give him better advice.
